This Privacy Policy explains how Scientific Calculator Advanced (“the App”) handles information when you use the App on Android devices. This document is suitable for Google Play Console and in-app display.

Scientific Calculator Advanced is a free scientific calculator application distributed on Google Play.
2. Internet requirement
The App requires an active internet connection (Wi‑Fi or mobile data). If no connection is available, the App shows a blocking message asking you to turn on Wi‑Fi or Mobile Data and retry. Calculator features do not continue while offline.
3. Information we collect / process
A. Stored on your device only
- App settings (theme, dark mode, angle unit, haptics, sound, display format, precision)
- Local calculation history
These items stay on your device and are not uploaded by the App to a developer server.
B. Advertising data (via Google AdMob)
- Advertising ID (or equivalent)
- IP address and approximate network-based location
- Device information (model, OS version, app version)
- Ad interaction and performance data
C. What we do not collect in the App
- No account registration
- No name, phone number, or postal address forms
- No email address collection inside the App
- No precise GPS location permission requested by the App
4. Permissions
- INTERNET — load ads and verify connectivity
- ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — detect Wi‑Fi/mobile data for the connectivity gate
- AD_ID — advertising identity where required
- VIBRATE — optional key haptic feedback
5. Third-party services
Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) for consent where required (for example EEA/UK).
6. Ads in the App
- Banner ads above the navigation footer on main screens
- Interstitial ads at natural breaks with frequency limits
7. Children’s privacy
The App is intended for a general audience (students and adults). It is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App. Use the Google Play Store listing contact options for concerns.
8. Data security
Local data uses standard Android storage. Advertising traffic uses Google’s infrastructure. No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.
9. Data retention
- Local history/settings: until cleared in Settings or the App is uninstalled
- Advertising data: according to Google AdMob policies
10. Your choices
- Limit personalized ads in device / Google ad settings
- Clear history in Settings
- Uninstall the App at any time
- Update consent choices when a consent form is shown
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
