Word to Photo Converter ("the App", "we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and what choices you have when you install and use the App. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
The App does not require user registration, login, email, phone number, or account creation. We do not ask for your name, physical address, or other personal contact details inside the App.
Word files you select are processed locally on your device to generate images. We do not upload, store, or transmit your documents to our servers.
Conversion history (file names, dates, and saved image references) is stored only on your device using local app storage. This data is not sent to external servers.
2. Device and Usage Data (Advertising)
The App displays advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob may automatically collect certain information such as:
Device type, model, and operating system version
Advertising ID (AAID/GAID)
IP address (approximate location)
App usage and ad interaction data
Crash and performance data related to ads

You can reset or limit ad personalization from your device settings (Google → Ads → Reset advertising ID / Opt out of Ads Personalization).
3. File Access
The App uses the Android system file picker (Storage Access Framework) to let you choose Word files. You explicitly select which file to open. The App does not scan or access your entire storage without your action.
Converted images are saved to your device gallery using Android MediaStore. On Android 10 and above, no storage read permission is required. On Android 9 and below, write permission may be used only to save converted images to your gallery.
Your files remain on your device unless you choose to share them using your device's share options.
4. Internet Connection Requirement
An active internet connection (Mobile Data or WiFi) is required to use the App. The App checks network connectivity when it starts and while in use. If no internet is available, a dialog box will appear asking you to turn on WiFi or Mobile Data. Core features and ads are not available while offline.
5. Advertising
This App displays advertisements through Google AdMob, including banner ads, interstitial ads, and app open ads. AdMob may collect and use data according to its own privacy policy. For more information:

6. Permissions Used
The App requests only the permissions needed for its features:
Internet — required to load advertisements and verify connectivity
Access Network State — to detect whether Mobile Data or WiFi is available and show the offline dialog when needed
Write External Storage (Android 9 and below only) — to save converted images to your gallery on older devices
The App does NOT request camera, microphone, contacts, location, phone, SMS, or read-media permissions.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please uninstall the App and contact us through the Google Play listing support option.
8. Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information processed by the App. Document conversion happens locally on your device, so your Word files stay on your device during normal use. Local history and cache data can be cleared from Settings → Clear Cache or by clearing app data in device settings.
9. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services:
Google AdMob — advertising
Google Play services — app distribution and updates
These third parties may process data under their own privacy policies. We do not control how third parties handle data.
10. Data Retention
The App does not maintain a user account or store your documents on external servers. Temporary cache files created during conversion may be cleared using the in-app Clear Cache option. Conversion history remains on your device until you delete individual items or clear app data.
11. Your Choices
You can:
Choose which Word files to open (the App never accesses files without your selection)
Clear cache and history from within the App
Reset your advertising ID from device settings
Uninstall the App at any time to stop all data processing by the App
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected by changing the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
