Privacy Policy for Uppercase Lowercase Converter
Developer: TPH Software BD
This Privacy Policy is written for Google Play users and describes how the app handles information. It matches the app’s actual behavior. No developer email address is listed in this policy; use the Google Play Store listing developer contact options if you need to reach the developer.
1. Introduction
Uppercase Lowercase Converter (“the app”) provides on-device text conversion, cleaning, analysis, copy, and share tools. By using the app you acknowledge this Privacy Policy.
2. Information processed by the app
The app processes the text you type or paste so it can convert and analyze that text. It also stores local preferences (theme, history settings, favorites) on your device. Advertising-related information may be processed by Google AdMob as described below.
3. Text processing and conversion
All conversion and statistics features run locally on your device. TPH Software BD does not operate a server that receives your entered text. If you copy or share text, Android’s clipboard or share sheet is used under your control.
4. Local conversion history
When history is enabled, recent conversions (input, output, conversion type, timestamp) are stored in a local database on the device (limited size). You can delete individual items (with confirmation), clear all history, or disable history in Settings. Uninstalling the app or clearing app data removes local history.
5. Internet connectivity
The app requires a validated internet connection (Wi‑Fi or mobile data) before main features unlock. Connectivity checks use Android network status APIs and do not upload your text content. If internet is unavailable, a blocking dialog asks you to turn on Wi‑Fi or mobile data and retry.
6. Google AdMob and advertising
The app shows only Google AdMob App Open ads and Interstitial ads. No banner, native, or rewarded ads are used. Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process device and advertising-related data such as advertising ID, IP address, device/app information, and ad interaction data according to Google’s policies and your consent/settings.
7. Advertising identifiers and consent
Where required, the app may show Google User Messaging Platform consent choices. You can reset your advertising ID or adjust ad preferences in your device settings. Ads are not shown while the internet-required dialog is blocking the app.
8. Data sharing and third-party services
Advertising data may be processed by Google and its advertising partners. The app does not sell your entered text. Review Google’s advertising privacy documentation for AdMob details.
9. Data retention and deletion
Local preferences and history remain on the device until you change settings, delete history, clear app data, or uninstall. Ad-related retention follows Google’s applicable policies.
10. Children’s privacy
The app is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this app.
11. Security
Reasonable steps appropriate to an on-device utility are used, including limiting permissions to internet/network state needed for connectivity checks and ads. No electronic method is completely secure.
12. App use rules (summary)
Use the app for lawful text conversion only. Do not misuse the service for illegal or harmful content. Main features require internet access for advertising initialization.
13. Policy updates
This policy may be updated when app behavior or legal requirements change. The Effective Date below identifies the current version and is not automatically changed each time the app opens.
