Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how TXT To PDF Converter (“the app”) handles information when you use the application on Google Play.
1. App purpose
The app converts TXT content into PDF documents and extracts readable text from PDF files into TXT format. Conversion and extraction are performed locally on your device for the action you start.
2. Files you select
When you choose a TXT or PDF file, the app reads that file only to complete the conversion or extraction you requested. Output is saved only when you choose a location with the system file picker, or temporarily in app cache while preparing open or share actions.
3. TXT to PDF processing
Text you type, paste, or load from a TXT file is used on-device to create a PDF. The app does not upload your TXT content to an application-owned backend server.
4. PDF to TXT processing
Selected PDF files are processed on-device to extract machine-readable text when available. Image-only or scanned PDFs without selectable text cannot be converted by OCR in this app, and the app will show a clear message in that case.
5. History
The app may store a local list of recent conversion events (such as file name labels and timestamps) on your device so you can review or delete them from Settings → History. This history stays on your device unless you delete it or clear app data.
6. Temporary files
Temporary files may be created in app cache to complete conversion, opening, or sharing. Temporary files are cleaned when no longer required or on later app starts.
7. Internet connection
An active internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data) is required to use the app. Connectivity is used for advertising services and normal online operation of the application.
8. Advertising
The app shows only Google AdMob App Open ads and Interstitial ads. No banner, native, rewarded, or rewarded interstitial ads are used. Google and its partners may collect and process advertising identifiers and related technical data according to Google’s policies to deliver and measure ads.
9. Data handling
The app does not create user accounts and does not intentionally collect personal profile information such as name, phone number, contacts, or location for app features. Advertising partners may process advertising-related data under their own policies.
10. File privacy
Your selected files are processed for your requested action on the device. The app does not secretly upload converted files to a developer server and does not store converted files outside locations you choose or temporary cache needed for processing.
11. Children
The app is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children. Do not use the app to submit personal information about children.
12. Your controls
You control which files are selected, where output is saved, whether content is shared, theme preference, history deletion, and whether you continue using the app. You can clear app data from Android system settings.
13. Policy changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The effective date above will be revised when changes are made.
