1. Introduction
Thank you for using QR & Barcode Scanner by TPH Software BD. This policy explains what the app does, what data stays on your device, why internet is needed, and how to contact us.
2. Internet connection required
- You must turn on mobile data or Wi‑Fi to open and use this app.
- Without internet, the app shows a message and does not load the main screens.
- Internet is used for Google AdMob advertisements and for opening web pages inside the app (links, maps, etc.).
- Scanning and generating codes still run on your device; we do not upload your scan content to our servers.
3. Our promise about your data
- Scan history and settings are stored only on your phone unless you export or share them yourself.
- We do not operate servers that collect or store your scanned text, URLs, or codes.
- All core features are free and unlimited (scans, history, export, QR styles). There is no paid subscription inside this app.
- You can delete history, change settings, or uninstall anytime.

- Scan history (content, type, date, favorites)
- App settings (sound, vibration, dark mode, language, batch scan, auto actions)
- My QR profile (optional, only if you save it)
This information is not uploaded to TPH Software BD.

6. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The free app shows banner ads and occasional full-screen ads after actions such as scan, save, or export (with a minimum time between ads). Google may process device and advertising data under Google’s Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Installing our optional Pro companion app from Play Store removes ads in this app when Pro is detected on the same device. No subscription is sold inside this free app.

- ZXing — QR/barcode generation on device
8. Children
Not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information.
9. Security
Use a screen lock on your phone. Avoid scanning very sensitive codes on shared devices.
10. Your choices
- Delete history or clear all in the app
- Export / import history files you control
- Turn off optional settings in Settings
- Uninstall the app to remove all local data
11. International users (EU/UK etc.)
You may use Google account settings for ad personalization. Local scan data remains on your device under your control.
12. Policy updates
We may update this policy. The date at the top will change. Continued use means you accept the updated policy.
