This Privacy Policy explains how National Anthem (“the app”) handles information when you use the application distributed on Google Play.
1. Who we are
National Anthem is a mobile app that streams national anthem audio, displays country flags, and shows short informational text about countries. By installing or using the app, you agree to this policy.
2. Internet requirement
The app requires an internet connection (mobile data or Wi‑Fi) to function. Without a network connection, the app cannot load media or operate and will ask you to turn on Mobile Data or Wi‑Fi.
3. Information we process
The app is designed to minimize personal data collection.
On your device, the app may store:
- Favorite countries you select
- Display preferences (such as dark mode and color theme)
- Last played anthem for “Continue listening”
- Temporary cached images and media to improve performance
This information stays on your device unless you clear app data or cache.
4. Advertising (Google AdMob)
National Anthem uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to show banner ads, interstitial ads, and app open ads. Advertising partners may automatically collect and process information such as:
- Advertising ID / device identifiers
- IP address and approximate location derived from it
- Device and app technical data
- Ad interaction and performance data
This processing is governed by Google’s advertising and privacy policies. You can manage ad-related preferences through your device settings and Google account ad settings where available.
5. Permissions
Depending on your Android version, the app may request:
- Internet / network state — to load content and verify connectivity
- Notifications — to show media playback controls while an anthem is playing
- Foreground service (media playback) — to continue audio with a system media notification
We do not request contacts, camera, microphone, SMS, or precise location permissions.
6. Children’s privacy
National Anthem is intended for a general audience. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has been shown personalized ads inappropriately, use the parental and privacy controls available on Google Play and in your device settings.
7. Data security
We use standard platform protections (HTTPS for network traffic, Android sandbox storage). No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8. Third-party services
The app may load flags and audio from third-party content networks and use Google Play services for ads. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when features, laws, or Google Play requirements change. The “Last updated” date will be revised when changes are published with a new app version on Google Play.
