Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how KML To PDF Converter ("the app") handles information when you use the application distributed through Google Play.
1. What the app does
The app converts supported KML geographic files into PDF reports and may extract recognizable geographic information from PDFs into KML files when such data is present.
2. Information we process
• Files you choose: KML or PDF files selected through the system file picker for conversion.
• Local history: conversion type, file names, timestamps, and status stored on your device.
• Device and network status: used only to check whether internet connectivity is available.
• Advertising identifiers and related data: may be processed by Google AdMob according to Google's policies.
3. Local file processing
Whenever technically possible, file conversion is performed locally on your device. The app does not upload your selected KML or PDF files to an application-owned server for conversion.
4. Internet requirement
An active internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data) is required to use the app. If both Wi-Fi and mobile data are off, the app shows a message asking you to turn on network connectivity. The app does not collect or transmit your files merely because internet access is required.
5. Advertising
The app uses Google AdMob and shows only:
• App Open Ads (on a fresh application launch)
• Interstitial Ads (after a main conversion result is ready)
The app does not use banner ads, native ads, or rewarded ads.
Google and its partners may collect and process data such as device information, IP address, advertising ID, and ad interaction data to provide and measure ads. Learn more in Google's advertising and privacy documentation available through Google Play and Google account settings.
6. No login or unnecessary personal data
The app does not require login, registration, accounts, name, phone number, or email address. The app does not intentionally collect unnecessary personal information.
7. How files are handled
You select files using Android's Storage Access Framework. Generated outputs are saved in the app's private storage and can be opened or shared with another app you choose. Original source files are not overwritten by the conversion process.
8. Permissions
The app requests only permissions needed for internet connectivity, network state checks, and advertising. It does not request unnecessary storage permissions for normal file picking.
9. User choices
• Delete individual history items or clear history from the History screen.
• Enable or disable Dark Mode in Settings.
• Manage ads and advertising preferences through your device and Google account settings where available.
• Uninstall the app at any time to remove local app data associated with it.
10. Data security
We design the app to keep conversions local and to limit data collection. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
11. Children's privacy
The app is intended as a general audience utility and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Third-party services
Google Mobile Ads / AdMob and related Google Play services may process data under their own terms and privacy policies.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made. Continued use of the app after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
