Internet Speed Test by TPH Software BD

This Privacy Policy explains how Internet Speed Test (“the app”) handles information and is intended to support Play Store compliance. The app does not claim that no data is processed.
1. Developer
The app is developed by TPH Software BD and distributed through the Play Store.
2. Internet connection requirement
The app requires a working internet connection. If Wi‑Fi or mobile data is off, or the network has no validated internet, the app shows a connection notice and asks you to enable connectivity in system settings. Main features stay blocked until internet access is restored.
3. Speed test and network tools
When you run a speed test, the app performs real download and upload transfers of temporary test data to configured measurement endpoints, then calculates speed from actual bytes and time. Latency, stability, DNS and website tools also send network requests related to the action you start. The app does not upload your personal files. Results are measured, not fabricated.
4. Public IP / network information
If you open Network / IP information, the app may request your public IP and approximate ISP or region metadata from an external lookup service. Exact street addresses are never claimed or shown.
5. Local storage
Saved speed-test results are stored only on your device, including speeds, ping, jitter, time, connection type and server label. You can delete individual items or clear all history. Uninstalling the app removes local history. History is not uploaded to our servers.
6. Advertising
The app shows only App Open ads and Interstitial ads through a third-party advertising SDK. Banner, native and rewarded ads are not used. The advertising partner may process advertising identifiers and device/network information under its own policies and applicable consent rules. Ads are not shown from footer navigation taps. App Open ads are for a fresh app open after Home is ready. Interstitial ads are shown after a successful main speed test when results are visible. A short cooldown limits repeated ads.
7. Consent
Where required, a consent / privacy messaging form is shown before ads are requested.
8. Permissions
• Internet and network state — required for online features
• Wi‑Fi state — connection information
• Location or Nearby Wi‑Fi Devices — only when needed for nearby Wi‑Fi scan results
• Advertising ID — for ads where allowed
CSV export uses the system file picker and does not need broad storage access. Contacts, SMS, microphone and camera permissions are not requested.
9. Children
The app is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your country).
10. Retention
Local history remains until you delete it or uninstall the app. External measurement, lookup and advertising services retain data under their own policies.
11. Security
No transmission or storage method is perfectly secure.
12. Your choices
You can disable connectivity, deny optional permissions, delete history, adjust device ad settings, and uninstall the app.
13. Policy changes
We may update this policy. The in-app last-updated date changes when the policy is substantively revised.
