Effective Date: July 3, 2026
Last Updated: July 3, 2026
1. Overview
Battery Health Checking ("the App") is published by TPH Software BD. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses, how it is used, and your choices. By using the App, you agree to this policy.
2. Information the App Accesses
Battery & Device System Data (Local Only):
The App reads standard Android battery information such as charge level, health status, temperature, voltage, charging state, and related system values. This data is displayed on your screen and processed only on your device. We do not send battery data to our servers.
Information We Do NOT Collect:
We do not collect your name, phone number, contacts, photos, files, location, or any account login information. No registration is required.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App displays ads through Google AdMob. Google and its advertising partners may collect and process:
- Advertising ID (AAID)
- Device type, operating system version, and language
- IP address (approximate location)
- Ad interaction and impression data
This information helps show relevant ads and measure ad performance. Google's privacy practices are described at:
https://policies.google.com/privacy
Your Ad Choices:
You can limit ad personalization on your device:
Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization
You can also reset your Advertising ID from the same menu.
4. Third-Party Services
The App uses Google AdMob, which may share data with authorized third-party ad partners under Google's policies. We do not control third-party data practices. Please review Google's partner policies for more information.
5. Permissions Used
- Internet — required to load advertisements
- Network State — checks connectivity before loading ads
- Advertising ID — used by AdMob on Android 13 and above
Battery information does not require any special runtime permission on Android.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not designed for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the App, please contact us through the Google Play Store listing.
7. Data Storage & Retention
Battery data shown in the App is temporary and stays on your device. We do not maintain servers to store your battery readings. Theme preferences and basic app settings may be saved locally on your device only.
8. Data Security
Because battery data remains on your device, its security depends on your device settings, screen lock, and Android system protections. We recommend keeping your device software up to date.
9. International Users
If you use the App outside your home country, your information may be processed by Google and its partners in countries where they operate, in accordance with applicable laws.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App or legal requirements change. The updated version will be available inside the App with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
11. Your Rights
Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Because we do not store personal data on our servers, most requests can be addressed by managing ad settings on your device or uninstalling the App.
12. Contact Us
For privacy questions, requests, or concerns, please contact us through the Google Play Store listing page of Battery Health Checking using the developer contact option. This is our official support channel and we aim to respond in a reasonable time.
