This Privacy Policy explains how Image Color Picker handles information. It is written for users and for Google Play disclosure expectations.
1. Introduction
Image Color Picker (“the App”) lets you select an image from your device and pick colors from that image. By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
2. What the App does
The App reads a selected image on your device, calculates color values (such as HEX, RGB, HSL, and HSV), lets you copy those values, and can store a local color history. Core color-picking works on your device and does not require an account.
3. Information we do not collect through login
The App does not require registration, login, passwords, or a user profile.
4. Images and on-device processing
When you choose an image, the App processes it locally to extract pixel colors. Images are not uploaded to an app-operated backend server for the core color-picking feature. You control which images you select.
5. Local color history and preferences
Recently picked colors and settings such as theme preference may be stored locally on your device. You can clear color history from History or Settings.
6. Internet connection requirement
An active internet connection (Wi‑Fi or mobile data) is required to use the App. If there is no connection, the App shows a notice asking you to turn on internet and does not continue into main features until connectivity is available.
7. Advertising
The App uses Google AdMob for monetization and may show:
• App Open ads
• Interstitial ads
The App does not use banner ads, native ads, or rewarded ads.
8. Advertising and device/network data
Google AdMob and related Google advertising services may collect or process information needed to deliver, measure, and improve ads. This can include advertising identifiers, IP address, general device information, app activity related to ads, and network information, according to Google’s policies.
9. Third-party services
Advertising is provided by Google. Their handling of data is governed by Google’s own privacy and advertising policies. Please review those policies for full details about advertising technologies and choices.
10. Permissions
The App uses only the permissions needed for its features, including internet access and network state to check connectivity and show ads. The App does not request camera, location, contacts, microphone, SMS, or unnecessary storage permissions for core use. Image selection uses the system photo/media picker where available.
11. Children’s privacy
The App is not directed to children. Parents and guardians should use device controls where appropriate. Advertising partners may have their own child-directed policies.
12. Data security
Reasonable steps are taken to protect local app data. No electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure.
13. Your choices
You may:
• Clear local color history
• Change theme settings
• Control network access on your device
• Manage advertising preferences through Android system settings where available
14. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The “Last Updated” date above shows the latest revision. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised policy.
